All in a Day's Work? Well, What's Good for the Goose.....from 9-1-1 report - APCO

A 9-1-1 dispatcher in Kelso, Washington, was being credited with guiding a panicked caller throught the Heimlich maneuver and subsequently saving the victim's life. No big deal? Part of the job? Well what if we told you the victim was a pot-bellied pig? According to reports, the pig's owner called 9-1-1 in a panic, saying her pet pig choked and passed out. Using guide cards - for human patients - Dispatcher Tracy instructed the woman to lift the unconscious pig to its feet, put her arms around its middle and squeeze. Last Month's Call

Dispatcher "Erin" reported she received a call from a woman complaining about another woman violating a temporary restraining order (TRO) and wanted a police officer to come out and take a report. In questioning the woman and getting information for the case Erin found out that the woman had gone to court and obtained a TRO against this other woman, telling the court "she did not know the woman's address". It turned out that the woman had a TRO against HERSELF, the TRO was against her split personality !!!
