While working dispatch on a busy afternoon, I had to give units updated information on a caller who had diconnected after stating that he was leaving. I intended to say that the caller was G.O.A. (gone on arrival,) so there was N.O.D. (No Other Despcitiption.) |
What I ended up saying over the radio was "The caller is
G.O.D." It took about one nanosecond before the phone rang with comments from the
officers such as "Oh, I didn't know he was in the area!" ;-) |
